Frequently Asked Questions

Do any of us need to know how to play?

Not at all! Our lessons are designed for beginners, and we’ll guide you through everything you need to know from the very beginning.

How many people do we need, and how many is too many?

We can accommodate groups from 2 to 16 players. For larger groups, we’ll bring additional instructors to make sure everyone gets the attention they need.

Do you travel to us?

Yes! We bring the Mahjong experience to you. Travel is included for events in the Ann Arbor and Saline areas. A travel fee will apply for locations outside our local service area. Contact us and we’ll be happy to confirm availability and any travel costs.

How far ahead should book?

It depends on our availability, and we’ll always do our best to accommodate your preferred date and time. For the best selection of dates, we recommend booking as early as possible.

How long are the lessons?

Our Classic Package includes 2 hours of instruction. Our Signature Soiree is a 3-hour experience that includes the foundation lesson plus guided live gameplay.

What happens if our plans change?

We understand that plans change. Please notify us at least 48 hours before your scheduled lesson to reschedule your event.
